ABLEconf Free Software for Free Enterprise

ABLEconf's early bird deadline for the call for proposals is Sunday at midnight ( UTC-7 ).

Early bird proposals have a better chance of getting accepted because they help the proposals committee plan for the conference.

There's still time after Sunday, but we appreciate early bird proposals.

SCaLE's 10x call for proposals is closing Thursday. There is a bit of effort required for speaker registration, so don't wait until Thursday night to start.

Note that SCaLE 10x is a litte earlier in the year than past SCaLE conferences as it's now in January.

The next in person meeting will be at Iguana Macks in Mesa. The meeting starts at 18:00 and runs for an hour. The agenda is on the mailing list.

For its 10th anniversary SCaLE is running an art contest. The winner gets a free trip, including airfare within the continental US, to Los Angeles for SCaLE 10x.

In addition to Debian turning 18 today, there will be an ABLEconf meeting at 18:00 before the Free Software Stammtisch which starts at 19:00.

On Debian's 18th birthday ABLEconf will help celebrate at the Free Software Stammtisch.
