Arizona's Premiere Conference on Open Source Software Offers Insight on Leveraging Open Source Tools to Reduce IT Costs and Increase Flexibility in the Midst of Economic Uncertainty.
TEMPE, AZ – The ABLE conference on Saturday, October 24th will feature many presentations on a wide variety of topics relating to Free/Open Source software. After a long day of talks, many of our volunteers will be gathering for ABLEconf FOSS Game Day at UAT on Sunday, October 25th from 10am – 6pm. Battle for Wesnoth and Nexuiz—both of which run on Linux, Windows, and OS X, will be featured, as well as OpenArena and Wormux/Hedgewars. Feel free to stop by and play with us!
ABLEconf FOSS Game Day will be held at the University of Advancing Technology (UAT) at 2625 W Baseline Rd Tempe, AZ 85283, right off the 1-10 and Baseline, down the street from Fry's Electronics, east of 48th St. Free parking is available in UAT's parking lot.
